I'm working on getting additional albums uploaded and in other various places. Still working on getting a few more albums to CDbaby so you can download music from the big tubbie, iTunes. So I just had my second son, Lyrik Fayte. He was born July 26th, 2011 @ 1:14 a.m. 8lb 9oz and hes absolutely beautiful. I can't describe how wonderful it is to be a father to a newborn baby. Such is Life. And Life hit once again and I absolutely love it!

Due to Lyrik's birth, Something in me wanted to go back to my roots with my music. When i first began writing as a hobby back in 1998 I gave my music away for free. It made me feel good to see others feel good and knowing music can pull unknown forces out of people. It seemed to spread all over the web and it was a great feeling (back with mp3.com was cool). When I took it all away and started charging for my music it seemed like something stopped and the momentum slowed down. Sure, I scored hundreds of short films and a healthy number of indy features because of this exposure, but it still left a void.

So, to return back to my roots I set most all my mp3 tracks in my www.edgenstore.com to "FREE". The only ones I left with a price were the Live Orchestral ones. (Since I don't have the finances to out right 'own' the music I dont' have the rights to give it away.)

I hope you will enjoy the music and perhaps even discover a few new ones.

I was given the wonderful opportunity to write original Orchestral music for "Green Lantern: First Flight" @ the Six Flags Magic Mountain theme park in Los Angeles, CA. You'll be able to hear my music while waiting in line in one of two rooms for this totally badass ride! The ride itself opens later this year and you can watch some 3d rendering concept animation from the trailer below:

I finally created a long overdue version to one of my favorite themes, "Last of the Mohicans". It was only recently that I found out that the original track was composed by Dougie Maclean back in 1990 on the album, 'The Search'. The name was originally called, 'The Gael'.
